Meet Capt. Zaman Khan

Capt. Zaman Khan is Principal Director of Flight Source International, Asset Management Division. Based in Spain, Zaman brings forth extensive corporate knowledge and involvement in the aviation community. Flying worldwide on assignments such as State Visits with VVIPS. He was responsible for the logistical support of the VVIPS in addition to operational duties. World travels include Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Rio, South America, Europe, USA, Washington DC. Entrusted to deliver the last new B-727 (200) built by Boeing, Supervised Vulsan engine & winglets modifications.

  • 2008-2009 Captain Executive B-727 Doha, Qatar.
  • 2002-2008 Chief Pilot/Aviation Manager “CETO Marketing” Managing and Operating an Executive B-727, responsible For personnel including maintenance, finance etc. Spain.
  • 2001-2002 Chief Pilot Trans Gulf, Operating their Corporate B-727 Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
  • 1978-1985 Principal Pilot for Saudi Oger flying Mr. Rafiq Hariri & other members of the Saudi Royals on their private B-727.
  • 1985-1990 Chief Pilot for two executive B-727s (1 100 & 1 200) Pinecroft Ltd based in Paris.
  • 1990-2001 Principal Pilot for Saudi Oger Flying Rafiq Hariri & other Members of the Saudi Royals on their private B727.
  • 1976-1978 Chief Pilot, Arab Wings, Royal Jordanian Airline. In charge Of 9 Leer 35/36s (Charter operations, Middle East, Europe & Africa).
  • 1978 BAC 1-11 training as captain with US Air (Then Allegany Airlines) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylania.
  • 1982 B-727(200) as captain with Boeing in Seattle & Los Angeles.
  • 1961-1970 With Pakistan Air Force as Fighter pilot, Bombers & Flight Instructor which included teaching on T-6s, T-37s, T-33s, B-57s and F-86s including air combat.
  • 1958-1961 US Air Force Academy, Texas, Florida, Texas & Arizona. Graduated as operational fighter pilot on F-86 Sabre Jet.
  • 1957-1958 Trained at PAF Academy, Risalpur, both ground school & fly Flying.
